Nowadays everyone appreciates the work of the Impressionists. Who questions Monet and Renoir? But at first, critics and the public accused these artists of being rebels who didn't really know how to paint. Despite the hostility, the public gradually recognized in the style an original way of seeing and painting.
Freedom and Daring
Andrea Mariano
Pop Art has been labeled vulgar, not aesthetic. Even so, today it imposes itself as a democratic and non-discriminatory art. Realistic Drawing has already competed with Photography and Digital Art. But today this proposal is already appreciated all over the world, and the talent that the style demands earns respect and international recognition.
Andrea Mariano's realistic drawings capture our gaze in a way that leaves us in doubt whether what we see is a photo or a drawing. In her portraits, with a highly developed technique, she manages to convey the emotions and feelings of the portrayed person without altering the naturalness of the image. The realism is such that many times the creators of realistic drawings release videos to prove that what we see was not created by a camera.
Self-taught, the artist was born in Paraíba. At the age of 5, he already reproduced and enlarged comic book images. The love of art led to professionalism. And social media facilitated disclosure. His paintings on canvas have already been shown in exhibitions in Paraíba, and his realistic drawings, on paper, colored pencils, graphite and canvas, have gained international recognition.
Andrea Mariano, in her own words, highlights creativity as an important differentiating factor, by enhancing emotions in her portraits. The dedication and care, the care in choosing colors, lights and shadows generate works that bring to the artist satisfaction and to observers from Brazil and abroad, admiration.
Result of the very own style with which his sensitivity manages to work two essential elements, which define his proposal: freedom and daring.
